At Samurai Hotel Naraai-sou, we offer samurai-themed events. You can enjoy experiences such as iaido (sword drawing), movie-style sword fighting (tate) filming, and kimono dressing. We also host seasonal events throughout the year.
At Naraai-sou, you can experience the authentic iaido of the Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu school. You will learn and practice basic techniques such as sheathing, drawing the sword, and proper movements.
Upon completion, an official certificate will be awarded.
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The manager of Naraai-sou, who is also active in film production, will direct movie-style sword fighting scenes. Filming takes place in Narai-juku, a town that perfectly suits samurai.
After completion, you will receive a DVD of the finished video as a gift.
Duration: Half day (6 hours).
In Narai-juku, you can enjoy strolling around the town dressed in kimono. We coordinate and rent kimonos for you.
