    Depart Samurai Hotel Narai-so

    Pick up your e-bike at the hotel and set off north toward Kiso-Hirasawa — an easy, mostly flat ride of about 3 km.

  2. 9:50–10:30 AM

    Kiso Traditional Crafts Center

    Browse the lacquerware museum and shop at this roadside station (道の駅木曽ならかわ), showcasing generations of Kiso lacquerware craftsmanship.

    Maruyoshikosaka Lacquerware Shop (丸嘉小坂漆器店)

    A short ride into Kiso-Hirasawa itself, to visit this working lacquerware craftsman's shop.

    Chikiriya Tezuka Man'emon Lacquerware Shop (ちきりや手塚万右衛門漆器店)

    A short walk or ride further along Kiso-Hirasawa's main street to this long-established lacquerware shop.

  • This is an easy, mostly flat route — no special cycling experience is required.
  • Roads are shared with local traffic, and Kiso-Hirasawa's lanes are narrow in places — please ride with care.
  • The times above are an estimated schedule; shop and facility hours can vary by season and day, so we recommend confirming before you set out.
  • The Kiso Traditional Crafts Center is closed on selected Tuesdays depending on the season.
